A Norfolk Wedding Full of Sunshine, Smiles, and Seaside Magic
There are weddings that simply radiate warmth, joy, and ease from the very first moment—and Megan & Chad’s day at Titchwell Manor in Norfolk was the epitome of that laid-back magic. As a photographer, it’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do: the laughter that comes effortlessly, the sun that seems to shine just a little brighter, and the privilege of being welcomed as part of something truly special.

From the outset, it was clear that Megan & Chad’s wedding was going to be a celebration of love, friendship, and family, all wrapped up in the relaxed elegance that Titchwell Manor is known for. The venue itself is a gem on the North Norfolk coast, with its stylish interiors, gorgeous gardens, and that ever-present sea breeze hinting at adventures just beyond the horizon. The weather could not have been more perfect—clear blue skies, gentle warmth, and a golden light that made every moment feel cinematic.
One of the things that made this day flow so beautifully was having my fabulous second shooter, Steve, by my side. While I was with Megan and her bridesmaids, capturing the excitement and laughter of the morning preparations, Steve was with Chad and the groomsmen, documenting their own pre-ceremony rituals. Steve has an incredible knack for putting people at ease, and his images of the groom getting ready are some of my favourites from the day—full of camaraderie, anticipation, and those little moments of calm before the festivities truly began.
Megan and Chad themselves were the definition of a laid-back couple. There was no stress, no fuss—just two people utterly in love, surrounded by a family and group of friends who were as warm and welcoming as you could wish for. The atmosphere throughout the day was one of genuine connection; guests mingled in the gardens, laughter rang out during the ceremony, and everywhere you looked, there were smiles and happy tears.

Titchwell Manor provided the perfect setting for this kind of celebration. The ceremony space was intimate and filled with natural light, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly without ever intruding on the day’s relaxed rhythm. After the ceremony, guests spilled out onto the lawns, drinks in hand, soaking up the sunshine and the joy of the occasion. The speeches were heartfelt and hilarious in equal measure, and the food—always a highlight at Titchwell—was a feast for the senses.
But if there was a single moment that captured the spirit of Megan & Chad’s wedding, it was the couple session on Brancaster beach. We snuck away just as the sun was beginning to dip, the sand still warm underfoot and the sky painted with soft pastels. There’s something about the vastness of the coast that encourages people to relax, breathe deeply, and simply be themselves. Megan and Chad needed no direction—they walked hand in hand, laughed, danced barefoot in the surf, and let the wind play with Megan’s veil. It was pure, unscripted joy, and the images from that session are some of my all-time favourites: two souls completely at ease, lost in each other and the beauty of the moment.
As the day turned to evening, the celebrations continued with music, dancing, and more laughter. The dance floor was alive with energy, but there were also quiet moments—glances exchanged, hands squeezed, hugs that lingered just a little longer. It’s these contrasts that make a wedding day so rich and memorable, and I feel incredibly grateful to have been trusted with capturing it all.

To Megan & Chad, thank you for being so wonderfully yourselves, and for inviting me (and Steve!) to be a part of your incredible day. To your friends and family, thank you for your warmth and welcome. And to Titchwell Manor, thank you for providing the perfect canvas for such a beautiful celebration.
